Kochi, India – January 2008:Assyst has won the contract to support Kannan Devan Hills Plantation (KDHP) on Oracle & D2K migration and customization. Assyst has been developing various applications for Kannan Devan Hills Plantations Company Pvt. Ltd. for managing their Tea Budgeting, Management Information System, Payroll, Asset Management, and Tourism related activities since November 2005. Assyst has also provided consultancy services for developing an ERP solution. For this purpose a detailed mapping of the organization’s workflow was carried out in order to fully develop the various modules of the ERP system. Assyst is continuing to provide onsite support for the above-mentioned application.
Kannan Devan Hills Plantation (KDHP) Company Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as Tata Tea, is the single largest tea plantation in South India with roughly 12,270 workers on its rolls. The company has 17 estates and 9 factories located in scenic Munnar.
