State-of-the-art Infrastructure
Assyst International operates from a state-of-the-art 25,000 sq. ft. software development center. It is connected to the US office through dedicated T-1 lines that carry both data and voice. High-end firewalls provide performance, security, and flexibility not only in protecting networks against threats from the Internet, but also in connecting remote offices and workers together securely using easily configured IPSec Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). The system is compatible with standard L2TP/IPSec VPN client supplied with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP operating systems and includes an unlimited SafeNet SoftPK V5.0 VPN client license for use with older Microsoft operating systems. It also allows comprehensive logging and e-mail alerts for essential monitoring of network security and thwarted hacker attempts.

Equipment, Software Licenses and Products
Assyst International has about 300 workstations and 30 servers installed in its offices. Communication equipment includes a Samsung DCS 500 EPBX at both ends. Both the US and Indian offices are connected using a VOIP switch that provides up to 32 simultaneous calls. The company is currently scaling the EPBX to allow 96 extensions between the two offices. In addition there are nearly fifty Asterisk phones being used.
